My Background
Personal Profile
My name is Ollie
I have 20 + years daily experience practicing the internal and external martial art of China.
Through my own sports injuries that I sought treatment from physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteo-myologists and western dry needling.
I eventually experienced Chinese Tui Na Acupressure and Acupuncture, which (for me personally) was what held best results.
My love for meditation and Dao Yin / Qi Gong led me to receive and study Reiki, which is where I started my healing practitioner journey.
After my Masters Attunement, I went on to learn and practice Karuna Ki, Crystal work and infuse Sound healing in to my sessions.
I later found somewhere that I could learn Tui Na professionally and after great effort and numerous case studies, passed with distinction. Fusing energy work with acupoints and my TCM knowledge created a form of Acu-reiki that I find very beneficial to the more elderly, infirm or those whose pain threshold is particularly low due to conditions such as type 2 Diabetes and Fibromyalgia.
Thai massage was my next skillset learnt, followed by TCM AcupunctureI, which remains my consistent topic of post-qualification learning and CPD courses.
Daoist stones - Over the last 2 years have also been learning to use crystals and minerals from a TCM modality and a Daoist perspective, studying under Sarah Thomas, a fellow acupuncturist in the USA who has been using crystals in her acupuncture treatments for nearly 20 years and has an extensive knowledge of Daoist practice. I love the science and the mysticism behind crystals and crystal healing and I find it to be a great alternative for the needle phobic or those with a weaker constitution of health.
I particularly prefer using crystals to needles when it comes to accessing the eight extraordinary meridians for deeper trauma work and clearing.
I am currently studying CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) to integrate into my passion of working with the 8 extraordinary meridians through these crystal treatments.
The Business, much like my knowledge, has grown and continues to grow.
I now work full time as a therapist and am forever grateful for this path.
